WELCOME TO CHICAGO PICKLEBALL
About Us and Our Training Philosophy
Rick Prewit, President of Universal Picklers, LLC:
I've been coaching and mentoring athletes for 50 years. When I was new to the Chicago Pickleball scene, I was surprised at how difficult it was to find beginner instruction and resources. I set out to change that. Based on my years of coaching and experience, I developed a training program for beginners to learn the game and develop their skills quickly in a welcoming and supportive setting.
I am a CPI (Certified Pickleball Instructor) through the IPTPA and currently play at a 4.0 rated Skill Level.
INTRODUCING JUNIOR TEAM PHOENIX
We now serve three generations of Pickleball Athletes!
Universal Picklers has worked with over 3000 children in partnership with the Chicago Public Schools, Chicago Park District and community based organizations. We've provided training, competitive play and positive and safe social outlets for the youth of the city. Our dedicated Junior Team is working towards competing in the 2022 AAU Junior Olympic Games.
JUNIOR TEAM PHOENIX PROGRAMMING
